BidenCash Darknet Marketplace Shut Down in Major Cybercrime Operation
Federal authorities have dismantled BidenCash, a notorious darknet marketplace specializing in stolen credit card data and personal information. The US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia seized 145 web domains and cryptocurrency assets tied to the platform, which had processed over 15 million compromised records and generated more than $17 million in revenue.
Launched in March 2022 as a successor to Joker's Stash, BidenCash gained infamy for its aggressive marketing tactics, including a free leak of 3.3 million credit cards to attract users. The marketplace served 117,000 customers before its infrastructure was rerouted to law enforcement servers.
Prosecutors confirmed the confiscation of crypto assets linked to illegal profits, marking another blow against financial cybercrime on the dark web. The operation highlights growing coordination between agencies to disrupt digital black markets.
